Netanyahu claims that India will buy thousand of missile from Israel

News24xx.com -  India reportedly has bought anti-tank missiles 'Spike' made in Israel on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

The Indian government earlier canceled the purchase of 1,600 Spike missiles worth USD 500 million.

As quoted by CNNIndonesia.com, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conveyed it after a visit to India on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Netanyahu stressed that India did not cancel the purchase of hundreds of weapons.

"After the conversation with my friend, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, the Indian government has told us that they has put Spike's deal back on the track," Netanyahu said.

In his visit to India for five-day, Netanyahu called the purchase of spike missiles by India is very important.

"And there will be more deals," Netanyahu said.

As reported earlier, India's Defense Ministry canceled an arms purchase agreement early this January 2018.

But at the same time, New Delhi has completed a deal to purchase 131 air-to-air missile from Barak worth USD 70 million.
