And it takes hard work to love every part of yourself when there is so much pressure from advertising and social media that compares your body to the body of others.


And these ads usually succeed in seducing young mothers who wish to restore their bodies like before they have children.


But not with Lisa Wilson, a 28-year-old mother from Michigan. Her abdominal skin turns to sags and has stretch marks after pregnancy, and Lisa feels very insecure about her appearance, and she is anxious to to having a body like when she has not had a child.


"My daughter loves the sagging skin and stretch marks on my stomach, but I see it as fat and I do not like it," Lisa said.


But when her daughters ie Brielle and Vienna, asked her about the origin of her stomach skin, at that moment Lisa realized something: talking about her body could give negative impact, cause the same insecurity in her children.

 

 

 


So, she decided to change her perspective. She chose to stop to hating her body and start to loving it. And Lisa starts takes many photos of the sagging skin and stretch marks on her stomach and then posted it to her Instagram account, to prove to her daughter that there is no part of the body that needs to be hated.


"I realized, if I once gave a bad message to my daughters because I was embarrassed by my stomach condition," Lisa explained.


"But now, I choose to be proud and accept my stomach condition. As a society, many consider the stomach condition likes that I have is bad thing, but we should look it with another way. I also want to show that you can still be sexy like a mother, you just need to love your lack of your body ".


Lisa now often shares her stretch marks of her stomach through her Instagram account, where she quickly gathers thousands of followers to share her positive body messages. She also shares photos with underwear.

 


Lisa hopes her photograph will inspire other women to love their bodies in every condition.
