Make a fraud in Spain, Alexis Sanchez accept 16-months prison sentence

News24xx.com - Alexis Sanchez, the player of Manchester United has received a prison sentence up to 16 months, after he was found guilty of fooling Spanish tax authorities until € 1 million. The Chilean player also claimed that he have avoided payments until € 983,443 in 2012 and 2013 when he played for Barcelona.

 

Sanchez was appeared in court in January 2018 and pleaded guilty to hiding some of money what he got during lived at Camp Nou. The 29-year-old is given a 16-month prison sentence, but he does not need to stay at prison, as long as he returns the tax to Spanish goverment.

Sanchez agreed to pay back all the money, plus interest, to Spanish goverment with cash. His teammates in Barcelona, ??Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano, have also been sued by Spanish courts for tax evasion.

Messi was given 21-month prison sentence in 2016, but his punisment was converted into fine until € 252,000 at last year.

But Mascherano was given a one-year prison term and a fine until € 800,000 in 2016.

Sanchez completed his move from Arsenal to Manchester United in the transfer window in January 2018 and has made three stunning appearances for Jose Mourinho's side.
