Horror on Valentine's day, 17 students killed in mass shooting in Florida

News24xx.com -  One student shared a horrible video from inside a school where a Florida gunman fired a high school and killed 17 people and injured 50 people.

In a video that taken by a student in one of the classrooms at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and distributed on Twitter by CBS Evening news, some students were seen squatting under a table where police said Nicolas de Jesus Cruz, 19, stormed the school on Wednesday, February 14 2018 with assault rifle and start to firing at 2pm.

The sound of gunfire echoed across the room and the sound of screaming ears rang.

Several students were seen crouching down on the floor and a male student was close to shouts: 'O my Lord, oh my Lord. Oh, my God'.

In the video from within the classroom were several victims lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

A girl is seen shivering while another boy is seen lying next to her. It is not clear whether the shots are in the classroom or not.

Dozens of students barricaded themselves in the classroom and the teachers escorted the group to limited safe places including the closet when the school in Parkland was attacked.

Many photographs that shared by those locked in the class showed they were hiding under tables and chairs.

Frightened parents rushed to the scene. Many communicate with their children on cell phones while others send message to many students and get no answers.

A father named Caesar Figueroa told CBS: 'My daughter is with a friend and is trapped in a closet. She is afraid to talk out loud. It's like a war zone here with cops, machine guns, helicopters. The FBI is here, everyone is here. I told my daughter not to call me because I don't want anyone to hear her voice.'

Photographs taken by students inside the school showed them crouching behind piles of chairs and hiding behind desks.

The shooter reportedly fled the building when police arrived mixing in with others students leaving the school.

Miami reporter Rick Folbaum said that he was exchanging message with a student that hiding in the closet.

"I continued to send text with a student, a young girl that I know well, she told me that she heard loud noises and shots until three times," she said.

"She sent a message : Suddenly there was a very loud voice ... .. people were crying in the closet."

A mother, Michelle, said that her daughter sent her a text that read: 'There has been a shooting at school ... and this is real.'
