A woman woke up and able to speak with different accents

News24xx.com - In all her life this woman never once traveled abroad. But she woke up several times and able to speak with different accents, like from another country.

She is Michelle Myers. In the past seven years, Myers experienced three unique events.

Her strange act is starts when she feels a 'blinded' headache before going to sleep. On the first occasion, the mother of seven children woke up with an Irish accent. Followed by an Australian accent, each for a week.

But two years ago, Myers suffered a bad headache and woke up with British accent.

"I am sad because I am like a different person," he said as reported ABC15.

Worried that she was experiencing a mental shock, the woman who lived in Buckeye, Arizona was also rushed to a psychiatrist.

The team of doctors made sure Myers was not lost in memory or pretending to speak with other country accents. They diagnose Myers with 'Foreign Accent Syndrome', a very rare condition in which the person can speak with another country accent, usually after a stroke, a nervous breakdown or other medical condition.

Myers also suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. This condition causes the sufferer to easily get blisters, broken blood vessels and joints that are too elastic so easily broken.

This is also what the doctor allegedly triggered the emergence of a British accent to Myers.
