A girl in Malaysia almost kidnapped and raped by Rohingya refugee at night market

News24xx.com -  On February 19, 2018, a 7-year-old girl was almost kidnapped by a man at a busy night market.

This incident reportedly took place at 6:30 pm in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. During the incident, the mother of the girl who is a vegetable seller, is very busy to selling. Suddenly, she heard her daughter crying loudly from the other side of the truck and asked her husband to go check it out.

The 51-year-old father was surnamed Wong, saying that he saw a young man forcibly holding his daughter's hand when he arrived there. Worried about the girl's safety, he immediately stopped the guy and asked the public for help.

Apparently, the guy is a 21-year-old Rohingya refugee who came out from a refugee camp two years ago.

Currently, he makes a living by collecting scraps items in Kuala Kangsar. After being arrested and tied up by the community, the refugee said that he wanted to take a picture with the girl, but no one believed his explanation.

Immediately, the police arrived at the scene and took the suspect with handcuffs. The little girl could not go to the police station because she was too traumatized.

When asked by reporters as quoted by the China Press, the father revealed that his daughter sometimes came to stall to help for selling the vegetables, and sometimes she roamed alone.

Apparently the suspect had bought some vegetables from his stall and somehow he quietly slipped behind the truck and pulled the little girl.

The victim's father refused to believe the suspect's explanation saying that he only wanted to take a picture with the girl.

Because the girl looks very traumatized and crying so loudly. Wong has reportedly sold in the market for nearly 20 years and this is the first time he has experienced such a bad situation.
