Leader of the Islamic Defenders Front, Habib Rizieq is threatened deported from Saudi Arabia

News24xx.com -  On Wednesday, February 21, 2018 The leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Habib Rizieq Shihab has canceled his return to Indonesia.

But Habib Rizieq is now threatened to be deported by the Saudi Arabian apparatus.

As quoted by BBCIndonesia, Habib Rizieq will deported recalled that his umrah visa will expire.

The possibility was conveyed by Professor of International Law University of Indonesia (UI), Hikmahanto Juwana.

"This possibility is wide, if visa of Rizieq will expire. Because, thousands of foreign people in Saudi who are desperate to survive even though their residence permit had expired, they must back to their country".

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) of Indonesia noted there are 4,785 Indonesian citizens had overstayed in April 2017.

"If the Saudi authorities find foreigners that overstayed, they will deportation," said Hikmahanto.

The real example of the case is in September 2016, the Saudi Kingdom had deported about 229 Indonesians.

Rizieq Shihab is known to entering Saudi Arabia by using an umrah visa. The visa is valid up to 30 days and can only be used for religious rituals in Mecca and Medina.

According to the Head of Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations, Kombes Aryo Yuwono, an umrah visa of Rizieq Shihab will run out on June 12, 2017.

"We get information from Immigration Departements, the umrah visa of Rizieq will run out on June 12 2018," he said.

Meanwhile, lawyer of Habib Rizieq Shihab, Sugito Atmo Pawiro called his clients are applying for a longer stay to the authorities of Saudi Arabia.

"Now the visa application process stay longer, is in the process," said Sugito.

As we known, Habib Rizieq Shihab had set as a suspect by the police over two criminal cases.

The first case is the alleged defamation of Soekarno and desecration of Pancasila which handled by West Java Regional Police.

The second case that ensnared is Habib Rizieq allegedly spreading pornography in the form of sex conversations that involving Rizieq Shihab and a woman named Firza Husein.

This case was handled by Metro Jaya Regional Police. But Habib Rizieq has denied all the allegations before he ran to Saudi Arabia.
