Four hotspots has detected on Sumatra Island

News24xx.com - On Monday, February 26, 2018, The Meteorological, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has detected four hotspots on Sumatra Island.


The hotspots were found in Riau province and North Sumatera province.

Head of the data section of the Pekanbaru meteorology station, Slamet Riyadi, said on Monday.


"Riau province has three hotspots and North Sumatera province has one hotspots. And for the hotspots in Riau province is in Siak for two hotspots and Bengkalis for one hotspots", he stated.


In Riau Province, temperatures during the day can reach until 33 degrees Celsius. And the areas that have potential of rain during day are Kuansing, Kampar, Indragiri Hilir, Bengkalis, Indragiri Hulu and some part of Pekanbaru. And for night in Kampar, Siak, Kuansing and Indragiri Hilir.


While the weather in Riau is little chance of rainfall, both day and night. With air humidity about 50 - 96 percent and wind from North up to North Sea is about 09 - 25 km / hour.
