Hundreds of employees of PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) carried out mutual cooperation with the community


 Ratusan karyawan PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) Ratusan karyawan PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) -  Hundreds of employees from Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) company conduct a mutual cooperation with people to planting trees on the unused land.

The activity is a part from the Community Development (CD) of RAPP with theme "Planting trees for people's welfare".

The Employee Volunteering Program (EVP) has followed by 200 employees of RAPP company and was held on Sunday, February 25 2018 in Pangkalan Delik Village, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province.

According to Director of the Community Development (CD) of RAPP, Marzum says the initial planting in Pangkalan Delik Village is targeted as much as 2,000 acacia tree species in the community owned land.

In addition, the company also gives seeds and fertilizers for next 6 months including coaching for treatment of plants.

This activity has provides benefits for the community, directly or indirectly.

"This program have a target to utilize land in the yard of the community. With acacia plants, it is expected in 3 years later, there will be additional income for the community," said Marzum .

Through this activity is expected to improve the familial relationship between employees and communities around the company's operational areas.

Meanwhile, the representatives of villagers, Marapontas Siregar said the program to plant trees for the welfare of the community is a form of corporate concern to the local community.

"This program is very good and I am very grateful to RAPP, because they gives their attention for our unused land. Later, this plant finally provide additional income for us," said Marapontas.
