Finally the case of Sridevi death closed by Dubai officials

News24xx.com -The corpse of the beautiful actress from India, Sridevi has been handed over to her family, and her death case has now been closed, said authorities in Dubai on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

"Dubai Public Prosecutors have approved the release of the corpse of Indian actress Sridevi to her family after a thorough investigation of her death has been completed," the Dubai media office said in a statement.

"Dubai Public Prosecutors emphasize that all regular procedures to be followed in such cases have been completed," he said.

Sridevi's body was embalmed before being flown back to India.

Her funeral, which was originally scheduled to be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 in Mumbai city of India was delayed after a forensic report said that the 54-year-old actress died of "accidentally drowning after a loss of consciousness".

Authorities in Dubai said the veteran actress was under the influence of alcohol when she lost her balance and fell into her bath room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Earlier reports said that she died of a heart attack while attending a family wedding in Dubai. The funeral will take place Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu after her remains return to India
