BKPM Include KITB Siak into KLIK

News24xx.com - Siak District, Riau Province once again got a new thing in investment field from the central government. The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) includes Tanjung Buton Industrial Area (KITB) into Easier Direct Construction Investment (KLIK) program.

The information came from Siak executive, Alfedri, following Financialization Implementation Coordinate Meeting of KLIK in order to quicken the implementation in industrial area in 2018, which is centered in Ruang Nusantara, Suhartoyo Building, BKPM, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 3 2018.

The event was attended by provincial and district officials as well as industrial companies. Alfredi said after the event that KITB was included in KLIK to push investment speed in KITB.

He said that the KLIK program really helped investors in efficiency because they do not have to wait until all the licensing process is over to start the construction. Investor can start building industrial facilities right away, after having principles license. “Other licenses will be taken care of,” Alfedri said.

Meanwhile, the director of KITB, M Suharto said that they would support the program. KITB would intensify the promotion and fix the
investment system and procedure to attract more investor. He also said that what could help quicken the implementation was infrastructure outside and inside the area. For the outside
infrastructure, it needs the comprehensive cooperation between central government and regional government. Moreover, KITB has been included in National Strategic Program (PSN).

“We hope that this year we can build a national road from next to Pusako to KITB,” Suharto said. For the inside infrastructure, KITB would cooperate with investors.
Especially for readiness of land, road, drainage, power plants, water treatment and sewage system. This is the next step, after BKPM policy
number 13 in 2017 about licensing and investment guide, following President’s policy number 91 in 2017 about acceleration of business implementation.

The meeting was attended by several head of regional areas who were involved in KLIK. In total, there is 53 industrial area included in KLIK stage I to III.**
