Sonia Fergina Citra becomes Miss Universe Indonesia 2018

News24xx.com -  Sonia Fergina Citra from Bangka Belitung was elected as Miss Indonesia of 2018, in Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, during the final night in Jakarta Convention Center, Friday Night, March 9 2018.

Sonia succeeded in winning over her competitors among the top three, Wilda Octaviana Situngkir from West Borneo and Vania Fitryanti Herlambang from Banten.

Sonia was born in Tanjungpandan on April 27, 1992. She had had various achievements, one of them being Miss Oriental Tourism of 2012. The Bangka Belitung representative has martial arts skill and was chosen as Taekwondo Emissary of Bangka Belitung in 2012.

Miss Indonesia 2017, Bunga Jelitha Ibrani, put the crown on Sonia’s head. Vania Fitryanti from Banten became Runner Up I while Wilda Octaviana Situngkar from West Borneo became Runner Up II.

Miss Indonesia 2018 election was also attended by Miss Universe 2017, Demi Leigh Nel Peters and Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori. The final night was enlivened by the performance of Indonesian singers, Afgansyah Reza, Isyana Sarasvati, and Jaz as well as Lesti.
