News24xx.com - The daughter of a Turkish billionaire, Mina Basaran, 28, took her friends to Dubai for dinner at the weekend, but the plane crashed when the plane returned to Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Here are seven guests who were killed along with the bride of the Turkish socialite when her private jet fell in Iran.

The guests have been identified as Zeynep Co?kun, Ay?e And, Burcu Urfal?, Asl? ?zmirli, Liana Hananel, Jasmin Baruh and Sinem Akay. Several of them worked in the fashion world, as jewelry or clothing designers.

The eight women and three crew members were killed when the private jet went down in southwestern Iran after the machine was reportedly caught in the middle of a flight.

The jet, owned by the Canadian-based Bombardier Challenger, is reportedly owned by a company that run by Mina's father, a conglomerate in Turkish, named Huseyin Basaran.

According to FlightRadar24 website flight tracking, the plane took off Sunday from Sharjah International Airport in the UAE, quickly gaining altitude and then dropping dramatically within minutes.


So far, the authorities found ten bodies from the crash site in the Zagros Mountains outside the city of Shahr-e Kord, about 230 miles south of the Iranian capital, Tehran.


Officials have also found the aircraft's black box, which will help investigators trying to piece together what happened before the crash.

The families of the victims arrived on Monday, March 12 2018 at Shahr-e Kord, accompanied by Turkish diplomats, IRNA reported.

Mina Basaran had been due to get married next month, had whisked away her seven friends to Dubai to celebrate.

On Thursday, she posted a photograph on Instagram showing that she was standing in front of the plane wearing a jacket that says '#bettertogether Mrs. Bride'.

On Saturday she posted a picture while being surrounded by seven friends with a pink robe - Mina using a white robe - at a resort in Dubai.

The last video that posted to her account showed she and her friends enjoying the concert of pop star Rita Ora at a popular Dubai nightclub.


Mina works for her father's company ie Basaran Holdings. Mina is part of the board of corporate managers and runs a business that includes real estate.

Villagers near the crash site said they saw the fire coming from an aircraft engine before the accident, according to a report by state-run state news agency Mizan.

"The plane is on fire after the pilot asked to lower the altitude, and the plane suddenly disappeared from the radar," Tasnim quoted an ICAO official as saying.


"The carcasses of their jets and bodies are found, they will be carried from the mountain when sun comes up, my condolences to the people who lost their loved ones," the head of the Turkish Red Cross humanitarian organization Kerem Kinik said on Twitter.
