Indonesia will face day without shadow phenomenon today at noon

At that time, the sun will be on the equator (Equator).

"So today at 12:00 pm local time, the sun just above the equator at 0 degrees latitude its means that, at that time we will experience a phenomenon  without shadow" said Head of Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency, Dwikorita Karnawati BMKG office on Friday, March 23  2018.

Dwikorita said, when the phenomenon occurs, the temperature will rise. Especially in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, which is precisely at zero degrees latitude.

The phenomena without the shadow only happen in a brief seconds. At that time, the temperature will reach approximately 33 degrees Celsius.

Before, the phenomenon without the shadow also occurred on March 21 2018. But the phenomenon only occurs in certain areas.
