Delegation from House of Representatives of Riau attended the cooperation signing ceremony in Ukraine

News24xx.com -   After attended the cooperation signing ceremony with Science and Technology in Ukraine, which ended at 12:30 pm on March 27, 2018, the Riau Provincial Government delegation also visited the Institute of Philology Program of Eastern Languages ??and Literature Department of Indonesian Language at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The visit of delegation from House of Representatives of Riau and KADIN Riau is a form for appreciate to increasing the cooperation of cultural relations between Ukraine and Indonesia goverment, especially with Riau Provincial Government.

In an event and discussion with students from majoring in Indonesia language, the Chairman Parliament of Riau Province, Septina Primawati explained that Indonesian language comes from Malay language and culture.

Septina also appreciate the interest of students that studied the national language. In the future, Septina said, Riau Provincial Government will send their assistance in form of books with Malay literature as reference material for the students at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

At the end of their visit, the delegation of  House of Representatives of Riau also handed over the miniature of Siak Palace which is the living history of the Sultanate in Riau, that still exist until now. 

She invited students from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Ukrainian society to come to Riau. At the end of the event, the delegation from Riau also attended for lunch at a restaurant that owned by Fedir Balandin,  the founder of the Indonesian House organization.

In the evening, the Ambassador of Indonesia, Yuddy held a dinner with delegation of House of Representatives of Riau at Wisma Indonesia .

In that event, the Chairman Parliament of Riau Province, Septina Primawati gave a memento to Mr Yuddy in the form of "Tanjak", the typical of Riau culture.

The delegation of the People's Consultative Assembly that led by the Deputy Chairman, H Mahyudin, who had just arrived in Ukraine also present at the event.

Mr. Mahyudin stayed in Ukraine from 25 until March 31, 2018.
