James Comey said Trump is morally unfit to lead the US

News24xx.com -  Former FBI leader, James Comey, during an interview with ABC News on Sunday night, April 15th 2018, said that Donald Trump is “morally unfit to be president”. He also called him as a liar who obstructed justice. 

He explained many scandals surrounding Trump administration over the past months. There are the suspicion that he worked together with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election and the allegation of extramarital affair with a porn actress.

As cited from Yahoo News, Comey said, “A person . . . who talks about and treats women like they’re pieces of meat, who lies constantly about matters big and small and insists the American people believe it, that person’s not fit to be president of the United States, on moral grounds.”

Comey seemed to have no fondness for the man who had fired him last May. “The challenge of this president is that he will stain everyone around him,” he said. However, Comey stated that if he had not been fired, he would still work for the government because although he would be unhappy, he loved his job which enabled him to protect it.

Comey claimed that back then, Trump had told him to give the authority of investigation to Michael Flynn, the national security advisor at that time. However, Trump denied it and threatened to release the tapes of the conversation. Comey said that he would be “crazy” to make it all up.

When asked by the interviewer, Goerge Stephanopoulos from ABC News, whether Comey believed the president obstructed justice, he replied that yes there is a possibility.

Among the topics that were talked about during the interview, was about allegation of Trump watching prostitutes urinating in a Moscow hotel suite in 2013. Comey said that he was unsure whether the rumor is true or not, but it was possible.
