Putin announced the restoration of flights on several routes from Russia to Egypt

News24xx.com -  After been stopped, now, the first regular flight  of Aeroflot will fly to Cairo. And this flight has been booked up to 120 tickets.

Previously, Aeroflot reported that the frequency of flights from Moscow to the Egyptian capital will be conducted only for three times a week. However, during the World Cup will be done for every day.

As noted in Aeroflot, on flights from Moscow to Cairo, about 3.75 thousand seats are already booked for the summer on October 27, 2018.

Mitransporta, the head of Russia's Maxim Sokolov said that talks on restarting air links with the Egyptian resort , will resume in the late spring or early summer.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin said Russia's flight plan to Cairo would be recovered as well as other air routes to Egypt.

The Russian airline stopped to flying to Cairo after a terrorist attack on the Russian Airbus A321 that flew from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg.

The accident occurred in the Sinai Peninsula on October 31, 2015 and killed 217 passengers and seven crew members.

And on January 4, 2018,  Putin signed a decree for the resumption of regular flights.
