Malaysia chases 4 ISIS members intending to attack on places of worship

News24xx.com - Malaysian Police was tracing four expected terrorist relating to radical group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), The four men were expected will launch terror acts in Malaysia, including to attack the worship places.

As reported by Channel News Asia, Monday, April 16th 2018, Malaysian Police stated that six member of ISIS has been arrested by antiterrorism unit of Johor between  February 27th till March 1st. However four ISIS members are still on fugitive.

Malaysian Police stated that four fugitive men are ‘dangerous’ for public. Four expected terrorist who were being chased by Police consisting of three Malaysian citizens and one Thailand citizen.

Two among others who was identified as Muhamad Faisal, and Muhamad Hanafi Yah were known from Kelantan. Another one namely Nor Farkhan Mohd. Isa was reported origin from Johor.

One Thailand citizen who was also being chased was identified as Awae Wae-eya ages 37 year-old.


Malaysian Police stated that four men who were being chased were planned to kidnap and kill several local polices and to attack non-muslim worshiping places in Malaysia.

Police requested so that public who have information regarding those four expected terrorist to soon contact authority or visit any nearest Police station.

Malaysian Police Chief, Mohamad Fazi Harun explained, whoever known as hiding information, to help or covering the suspected can be punished for 7 to 30 years behind the bars.
