Jessie J won singing competition in China

Jessie J won the contest, in which she was competing against other professional singers. She gained 48 percent of the votes.

During the contest, she sang some of her famous songs like “Flashlight” and “Domino”. She also sang the cover song of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” She said that the song was the one that made her want to be a singer when she was young.

She explained that the reason she competed was that she loved trying unexpected things and representing UK. She said that it was also a good opportunity to bridge the gap between the cultures of China and UK.

Jessie claimed that China was an amazing place to visit and she always felt welcomed during her stay there. “Thank you China for giving me this moment,” she said, as cited from BBC.
