The narrowest house in the world, only fit for one person

But if you do own a land, then you can build a house on it. Even if the land is small, you can follow the example of this Polish architect in making the narrowest house in the world.

That is right, Jacub Szczesny claimed that he had built the most narrow house in the world. The width of the house is only 1,5 meter. The house is called “The Keret House”. This narrow house is predicted to become more popular as the costs of house or room renting increase in the future.

People who walk by may not even realize that there is a house there because this house is built in between two tall buildings so it is almost unnoticeable.

The Keret House is located at the center of Warsaw, Poland. It is usually rented temporarily to traveling writers. This house, like any other house, has bedroom, working room, bathroom and even kitchen. Each room is located on top of another, with stairs to connect them. “This house has become an icon of Warsaw and you can see it in tourism map” said Szczesny.

This is the example of a house that you can build in a small or narrow land. It may sound extreme because people can feel cramped inside such a narrow house. But at least it can inspire something in other architects.
