Actor Deddy Sutomo has passed away

News24xx.com - Indonesian senior actor who won Citra Award in 2015, Deddy Sutomo died on Wednesday morning, April 18th 2018. He died in his house in Rempoa area, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

“He died at 7 in the morning so suddenly. He was sitting after coming back from the toilet and watched the news,” said Rendy Surindrapati, Deddy’s third child in the funeral home.

Before he died, Deddy’s health had been failing. His child said that he had has heart failure and had been treated in Harapan Kita Hospital.

“He has been sick for around 3 days, before he was discharged from the hospital after the treatment for heart failure. He is old. He had been treated in Harapan Kita once. When he came home on Sunday his condition was better, but today, so suddenly...” he explained.

“He was in critical condition in ventilator, but then he woke up and got up and all that time, he was better, very stable, which made the doctor discharge him. When he came home, his condition became better, but for some reason, he said good bye” Rendy added.

Deddy’s funeral was prepared. The mourners came to show condolence to the family. Deddy Sutomo was prayed in a mosque near his home before being buried in Tanah Kusir Cemetery, Wednesday, April 18th.
