After sailed in the sea for 8 days, at many as 79 Rohingyas grounded in Aceh Indonesia

News24xx.com -  At least, 79 ethnic Rohingyas were grounded at Kuala Raj , waters, Regency Bireun, Aceh. 

After has been evacuated at local shallow, they spent the night at Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar Bireun building.

Muhammad Rafiq (55), a Rohingya refugee who able to speak Malay said that they departured from Myanmar on Thursday last week. They used a little boat (ship) with capacity of 5 GT and carried 79 people with detail ; men 44 persons, women 27 persons, and children 8 persons.

The ship that they used was owned by other man. They, every one  had to pay the ship to the owner who is in Myanmar.

Therere no one dead victim in that ship.

They have to leave their homeland, because their country was in war condition. They choosed to leave and find job at their neighbour countries, like Thailand and Malaysia, however, they were refused. Luckily, fuel  oil supply of the ship was sufficient, so we not drowned in he sea.

“Only one ship departured. Our destination were Thailand and Malaysia. However we were not been accepted there, and we then, aimed the ship to Indonesia, hoping that community want to receive us for a  time being,” added Rafiq.

Besides of seeking job in Malaysia, most of their families already domiciled there. Plenty Rohingya brothers grounded in Aceh and some  had entered Malaysia and settled there to stay alive.
