Facing Ramadan, Bulog Riau and Riau Islands prepares 5 thousand tons of rice

"We plan to add rice stock of 5,000 tons" he said, adding that the rice was imported from the center for food price stability during Ramadan and Eid" he said.

Fadli said there are currently 4,000 tons of stock in the warehouse. "There are 4,000 tons of stock in our warehouse, plus 5 thousand tons of rice comes from the center, so it is enough in facing Ramadan and Eid" he said.

In addition to rice, Bulog Riau and Riau Island already sells sugar, wheat flour, and cooking oil. All commodities are sold under the name of 'Kita' brand.

As is known today, Riau provincial government together with other agencies conducted a market review. This was done to find out food stock for Ramadan.
