A footage captured terrifying moment when a boy gets trapped underwater in South Carolina

News24xx.com -  A terrifying  incident occured in South Carolina. From the security cameras in the pool, captured a terrifying moment when 12-year-old boy gets trapped underwater.

At that time,  the footage shows two boys playing in the pool at the Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.

The unnamed boy and his friend, diving underwater to explore the suction pipe before trapping his leg.

After the leg of poor boy got caught in suction line in a lazy river at an indoor swimming pool, his friend tries to free him before calling out to nearby adults for help. 

A number of adults rush to the scene to attempt to pull the boy out, with one man performing mouth-to-mouth underwater.  A man who performed underwater mouth-to-mouth until emergency services arrived in.

The boy is stuck of nearly 10 minutes as rescuers struggle to free him. Officers from North Myrtle Beach police department eventually arrive, leaping into the pool to recover the young boy. They finally free him and performing  of CPR.

The boy survived the ordeal thanks to and he was taken to hospital and police revealed that he is alive but did not disclose anything further about his condition. 

From the investigation of police, it known that the boy became stuck in the six-inch suction line after the grate that covering the line was removed. 

It is not clear whether the boy removed the grate himself. The hotel as not yet commented on the incident.

But as information, when drowning, usually occured the decrease in consciousness after 2 up 3 minutes in the water. 

And brain damage occured after in the water about 4 - 10 minutes  and the normothermic function of the brain will not return after 8-10 minutes in the water.
