News24xx.com -  A bad news came from Manchester United.

That football club have confirmed Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency brain surgery after he got brain haemorrhage.


"Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency surgery today, May 5 2018", wrote a statement from Manchester United. 


Known, the procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery.


One of the son of Ferguson named Darrren, who is a manager of Doncaster, said that theur family asks for privacy, and will provide an update through the club during the week.


According to The Times an ambulance was called to the 76-year-old’s man home in Cheshire at about 9am yesterday morning. The ambulance took him to Macclesfield district hospital, but then he was subsequently transferred to and treated at the Salford Royal.


For information, Ferguson was appointed as Ron Atkinson’s successor in 1986 and led the Old Trafford club to an unparalleled level of success. That Scot man won his first trophy in 1990 following an FA Cup win over Crystal Palace that saved his job and subsequently built a string of some of the finest teams English football has ever seen. 


Until now, Ferguson won a total of 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues, with the treble winning side of 1999 his crowning glory.
