Manchester City broke Premiere League record for the most points and goals in one season

City won 3-1 at home to Brighton at Etihad Stadium on Thursday (10/5) dawn in Premier League. The three goals were scored by Danilo, Bernardo Silva, and Fernandinho, with a reply made by Leonardo Ulloa.

These three additional points make City now collect 100 points of 38 matches. The number was the result of 32 wins and four draws.

With 100 points collection, City has now carved a record number of points in a Premier League season. The Citizens surpassed Chelsea's record with 95 points in a season that was the previous record.

Interestingly, City is the first team in the Premier League to reach 100 points, with victory over Southampton at the weekend sith scored 0-1.

In addition to the number of points, City also carved a goal record. Additional three goals and one goal against Southampton to make Pep Guardiola's squad has now incised 106 goals throughout 2017/2018. That number is three more than the previous record carved by Chelsea in the 2009/2010 season.

Meanwhile, the number of 32 victories in a season to make the City surpasses the record of Tottenham Hotspur in the 1960-1961.
