Hotspot in Riau detected as much as 25 points


IllustrationIllustration - Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, hotspots on the island of Sumatra detected 37 points. Based on monitoring by Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of Riau province.

As said by the Head of Section (Kasi) Information of  BMKG Pekanbaru Station, Marzuki. "Hotspots in Sumatera is 37 points, most of them are in Riau with 25 points, then Jambi with 5 points, West Sumatera for 4 points, Aceh 1 point, Lampung 1 point and South Sumatera 1 point" he said.

Hotspot in Riau is spread most at Siak with 11 points, Pelalawan 6 points, Bengkalis 3 points, Dumai 2 points, Indragiri Hilir 2 points, and Rokan Hilir 1 point. "All of the hotspots with the level of confidence above 70 percent spread evenly in Bengkalis, Dumai, and Siak" he explained.

And for a chance of rain during the day, there have potential of light rain in some areas Rohil, Dumai, Rohul, Bengkalis, Kuansing, Kampar, Inhil, and Inhu. With maximum air temperature can reach 34 degrees Celsius.

Evening chance of light rain in some Dumai, Rohil, Rohul, Kampar, Kuansing, Inhu, and Inhil. With air humidity is 50 to 96 percent and wind comes from Southeast to South with the speed of 09 to 27 km/hour.
