Through its official website, Toyota announced to recall their unit distributed in 2015-2016

News24xx.com - Special Service Campaign (SSC), Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) announced the recall its units. This official announcement has been started since last week, on Monday, May 7th 2018 in Indonesia.

From the data of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) monitored already recall for tens of thousands of products circulating in Indonesia for the year of 2015 -2016.

In its official website mentioned as many as 24,662 units of cars in Indonesia indicated to recall consists of several types of cars, ranging from MPV, SUV, sedan to double cabin.

Those types include Alphard, Corolla, New Fortuner, New Kijang Innova, and New Hilux, distributed since May 7th, 2015 to January 29th, 2016.

Toyota said there is a component on the airbag sensor in the car that became a problem.

"If customers find unusual indications on airbags or other devices, such as the airbag warning lights, it is expected to come to TAM's official repair shop" it wrote on its official website.

Related to this problem, TAM has set up a special communication channel to handle SSC airbag sensor and airbag inflator.

Customers simply call the nearest Toyota outlet or contact Toyota Customer Care at phone numbers 1-500-315. Or customers can also visit Toyota's official website at www.toyota.astra.co.id/ssc.

Then the customer can enter the frame number, and will appear information whether the customer's vehicle should be recalled or not.
