USD 1 for boarded Loop, the new vehicle Elon Musk made, with maximum speed of 240 km per hour

News24xx.com - Musk revealed the new details about the Loop, a modern model of transportation that he worked through one of his companies called The Boring Company. One of the things he said is the cost to ride the loop.

He estimated, everyone only have to pay as much as USD 1, or equivalent to IDR 14,100, for one trip. With these costs, passengers can board a vehicle which can fit for 16 people and the maximum speed of 240 kilometers per hour.

With that speed, Loop can deliver passengers from Downtown Los Angeles to Los Angeles International Airport, or vice versa, in just eight minutes. It is about three times faster than using car.

As a supporter of the transportation system, he also intends to build tens to hundreds of small stations with the size of a parking lot for one or two cars. This according to him can make everyone avoid congestion from various points.

Congestion is a major problem that want to be solved by the man nicknamed ‘Iron Man’ through the Loop project. For 16 years living in Los Angeles, he claimed to have experienced 'hell' in varying degrees due to the congestion he faced. Musk was forced to be late for several events due to that problem.

Although Musk did not provide a definite timeline of his project, Steve Davis as one of the leaders of The Boring Company said that the tunnel between Los Angeles and San Francisco will be completed soon.

Even so, in the near future, the company will only impose a 4.3-kilometer short path as the initial stage of its 100-mile-long full-length path that splits the city of Los Angeles.
