News24xx.com - The Japanese train company, West Japan Railways (JR West) apologized for the train leaving 25 seconds earlier. The train stopped at Notogawa station in Shiga province on Friday, May 11th 2018 made a mistake by leaving the station at 07:11:35 am - 25 seconds earlier before its scheduled time at 7:12 am.

"We felt guilty to our customers and it cannot be excused" the company said in a release as reported by Asian Correspondent on Friday, May 18th 2018.

According to the company, because the train departed 25 seconds faster, there were some passengers who have not board and left behind.

It is said, train drivers make a mistake by closing the doors. Realizing his mistake the machinist looked at the platform and saw no one. Eventually the engineer decided to leave 25 seconds early.

This is not the first thing Japanese railway companies apologize to the public for an earlier departure. Last November, Metropolitan Intercity Railway Co. in Tokyo apologized for the 'extraordinary disturbance' experienced by passengers as the train departed 20 seconds earlier.

"We will thoroughly evaluate this incident and try to prevent the same incident from happening again" continued JR West. This shows that the quality of transport service is very good in Japan.
