News24xx.com - After Google Glass, Google is now reportedly working on a new standalone augmented reality (AR) headset.

Reported by WinFuture on Saturday, May 19th 2018, they got a document that showing Google is working with Quanta, a Taiwanese company, and working on an A65 A-coded headset AR. The headset is said to have custom QNC603 Qualcomm quad core custom chips, and has a screen with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

But, the interesting thing from the document is the part that says that this headset is more similar to HoloLens made from Microsoft rather than Google Glass. Just for information, HoloLens is a headset that combines virtual reality (VR) with AR experience, which can produce a better experience.

Google-made headset is also referred to as a standalone device, aka can operate without connecting to other devices such as computers or mobile phones. Unfortunately, Google does not comment on these headset rumors, so its existence is arguably still a mystery.
