Acer revealed the specifications for its newest gaming laptop

News24xx.com - Acer again presents their latest Predator gaming laptop. The Helios 500 Predator, as the name implies, has a new thermal technology.

"The Helios 500 and Helios 300 Predator gaming laptops come with Acer's proprietary thermal technology and powerful components installed with our award-winning software, giving the gaming experience you never felt before" said Jerry Kao, President of IT Products Business.

The Helios 500 Predator combines an 8th generation Intel Core i9 processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics that will bring you more powerful gaming power.

For appearance, the Helios 500 features bluish lights and a thin accent on a black obsidian-colored chassis. It carries the IPS screen 17.3 inch, UltraHD resolution (3840 x 2160p) or FHD (1920 x 1080p) with G-sync technology for smooth motion display. Special variant FHD screen equipped refresh rate at 144Hz.

The existence of Intel Optane memory increases response and speeds up loading time plus NVMe PCle ultra fast SSD and network killer double shot pro and RAM up to 64 GB.

The Thunderbolt 3 port is double, and the display and HDMI 2.0 ports support up to three external monitors. Two speakers, a subwoofer, Acer True Harmony and Waves MAXX Audio technology provide solid sound and hyper-realistic 3D audio using Waves Nx.

Helios 500 temperatures can stay cool thanks to two Acer's AeroBlade 3D metal fans, and five heat pipes that distribute cool air to the main components of the engine while releasing the hot air simultaneously.The fan speed can be controlled and adjusted through the Predator Sense application. The backlit RGB keyboard offers four lighting zones with support for up to 16.8 million colors.

Acer has not provided about price information and when this laptop is available on the market.
