A woman teacher in India has been arrested for sexually assaulting

But the case of 33-year old woman teacher in India made us will shock. She has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

He was allegedly being sexually assaulted since March 2018. The boy, a student of Class X, lives in the same locality as the teacher.

The case first came to light on May 22 when the parents approached the teacher to cancel the tuition classes because the boy’s grades were not improving. 

The teacher became with the parents and locked up the boy in a room. The parents freed the boy with the help of neighbours and took him home. But the teacher went to their home and the parents then called up police and the teacher was taken to hospital.

Counsellors from Child Helpline were called in and they found that the boy was being sexually abused. 

The teacher had given a SIM phone card to the boy through, and the teacher was sexually assaulting the boy and also sending him emotional text messages. 

And they realised that the teacher was not only aggressive with him but was also extremely possessive with the student.

The teacher was took in the Chandigarh district court on Thursday, May 24 2018 and sent to judicial custody.  And police have booked the teacher under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
