The Chinese were deprived of 22 thousand porno-sites

News24xx.com - The Chinese authorities have blocked access to 22,000 portals with pornographic content since early 2018. This is reported by the publication «China Daily».

Employees of the National Anti-Pornography and Illegal Publications Department of the People's Republic of China reported on the investigation of 390 cases of abuse in the network. Following the review of these episodes, 1.75 million different objects were removed.

At the moment, there are 50 cases at the disposal of the department. Officials also complained that, despite the opposition to the spread of pornography, files are still easy to find on the Internet.

For many years, Chinese officials have been fighting erotic content, which, in their opinion, can cause moral and physical harm to underage teenagers. Two years ago, an alliance of volunteers on Internet security in the country invited people with disabilities to work: they had to evaluate the rating of pornographic images. Later, their experience was planned to adapt for automatic detection and blocking of porn in the network.
