Exploding sound heard in the South Jakarta district court, where the trial for Aman Abdurrahman held

News24xx.com - Drum that exploded in the apartment building project was heard until the South Jakarta District Court, which was holding a further trial of terrorist defendant Aman Abdurrahman. The apartment project is located not far from the South Jakarta District Court, where the Aman trial was held.

After the explosion, Police personnel checked the location of the exploding drum directly. There were 2 project workers who secured by the police. "The drum that was the source of the explosion has been taken to the Police Station, and two workers who allegedly thought as suspect were taken to South Jakarta Police Station" said a project security officer, Ridwan, when met at the site, Ampera Raya street, South Jakarta, Friday, May 25th 2018.

He said there were about 10 police personnel who came to the site. The incident happened at around 09.00 am local time. The location of this exploding drum was less than 100 meters from the South Jakarta District Court.

Chief of South Jakarta Police, Indra Jafar explained that the explosion came from the project site in front of South Jakarta District Court building. "The sound of exploding came from the project site in front of the court where there was a drum with the rest of the chemicals for the cast hardeners, the chemicals should be kept away from the fire" Indra said.

According to Indra, the project workers cut the drum using welding machine to be used as garbage bins. But apparently there were still remnants of chemicals and resulted an explosion.
