Ahead of Champions league final, Kiev got lots of threatened of cyber attacks

News24xx.com - The city of Kiev in Ukraine which will hold the Champions League final between Real Madrid vs. Liverpool on Saturday, May 26th 2018 local time or Sunday morning, threatened with cyber attacks in large numbers.

The warning was immediately announced by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), a law enforcement authority and the Ukrainian security agency. Quoted from Reuters on Thursday, May 24th 2018, SBU warned of the possibility of cyber attacks against state agencies and private companies ahead of Champions League final event.

SBU disclose important infrastructure in Ukraine will be the target of hackers. They believe that the act was masterminded by Russia. "Security experts believe that the infection against the hadware device in the territory of Ukraine is preparation for another act of a cyber aggression by the Russian Federation, which aims to disrupt the situation during the Champions League final" the SBU said in a statement.

The Champions League final itself is scheduled to take place at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Ukraine. Tens of thousands of both fans will flock to the stadium and fulfill this 70,050 seats in the stadium.
