Spider-Man in real life, saved the life of a boy after his hanging in a balcony in Paris

News24xx.com -  A terrifying incident occured in Paris on Sunday, May 27 2018. At that time, a child seen outside apartment on Rue Marx-Dormoy while he have been left home alone while his father was out shopping.

But, an  incredible moment was occured when a man climbed four storeys, using just his bare hands to rescue that young boy dangling from a balcony.


The man named Mamoudou Gassama, 22 years old who also the neighbour of that boy tried to saved him from adjacent balcony in 18 th floor after the four-year-old boy was filmed hanging on for his life outside an apartment on Rue Marx-Dormoy on Saturday afternoon on May 26 2018.


Mamoudou Gassama, who took less than 30 seconds to reach the child, and has compared to the Marvel superhero Spider-Man. After effortlessly making his ascent, Gassama grabbed the boy and took him to safety.

And the only injury sustained by the child was a torn nail and Gassama suffered a few scratches.

The heroic action of Gassama was watched by encouraged by a crowd of onlookers.

One witness told as quoted from Le Parisien said, "There is a fence and a gap between them. The neighbor could not afford to lean back to get the child himself. And fire crews had already been alerted to the incident after a neighbour, who can be seen desperately trying to grab the boy from the next balcony." 


But, before the fire crews comes, Gassama who came to France from Mali, six months ago and now lives in Montreuil, tried to saved the boy.


When asked why he took such a risk to save the boy, Gassama told, "I did it because it's a child. And I'm afraid bad incident will occured with him."

And now, an investigation into the incident is now underway. And Gassama has since received praise for his heroics from the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.


"Congratulations to Mamoudou Gassama for his brave act that helped save a child's life. I had the pleasure to talk with him today by phone, to thank him", she wrote in Twitter.
