New trend for clothes in Ramadan month, Black Panther's koko

News24xx.com -  It seems that Black Panther fever has not subsided in Indonesia. The Marvel film was very popular and loved by a great number of people all over the world, including Indonesian people.

The fever of Black Panther film made many fans even pay attention to the characters’ costumes and accessories. Among the costumes and accessories from Black Panther, there is one that comes to attention, which is the low-collar, long-sleeved black shirt that is worn by King Wakanda T’Challa. 

At a glance, the clothes look similar to koko clothes, a term used to refer to a kind of clothes worn by Muslim men.

Not long after that, koko clothes with the same motive as that worn by Wakanda appeared. In Ramadhan month, the clothes are selling great in Tanah Abang Market, Jakarta.

Every time someone came to the market, they would ask, “Is there a Black Panther koko clothes here?”

Unfortunately, although many people love this koko clothes, the stock is limited. Only a few shops actually sell these koko clothes.

“Those clothes really become a hit these days. There were so many people searching for it yesterday but we were out of stock. It is kept produced, but we are always not fast enough from other merchants when taking the stock of Black Panther koko clothers,” said one of the merchants, Tomo, in Block A, Tanah Abang, Jakarta.

Another merchant, Niken, said that there are around 2000 sets of Black Panther koko clothes sold out every day. The price varies, depending on the kind of clothes they want. For ordinary koko clothes the cost is IDR 120 to 150 thousands. For clothes that are the combination of koko and jacket, it is IDR 200 thousands.

“Alhamdulillah, there are many people who search for it. This year, since last month, there are so many of them who search the Black Panther one,” Niken said.
