News24xx.com - By 2020, Airbus plans to equip airplanes with beds, as well as children's and meeting rooms.

Airbus, together with the French company Zodiac Aerospace, has developed a concept in which the cargo holdings of the A330 and A350 aircraft are proposed to be turned into sleeping rooms with bunk beds.

And the modules for sleep, if desired, can be dismantled to make room for cargo. Thus, airlines will be able to regulate the distribution of places for cargo and for passengers.

Part of the premises of the aircraft the company offered to use as a workspace or playground for children. The additional "conference room module" will be equipped with armchairs and tables for working meetings. The projector will allow passengers to hold presentations or watch movies on the big screen.

Also it is planned to equip the check-in counters  in the airplanes, same like in hotels. In general, according to the plan, passengers should feel comfortable in flight, as in a good hotel.

"This approach to commercial air transportation is a step towards the comfort of passengers. We have already received very positive feedback from several airlines on our first models", - said Jeff Pinner, the head of the Airbus «Cabin and Cargo Transportation" program.

Previously, the company also introduced the concept of a transparent cabin for an airplane with a virtual golf course.
