Facebook will launch its new program for gamers


IllustrationIllustration - In January, Facebook launched a gaming creator program by paying a professional gamer who aims to broadcast their games exclusively to other Facebook users.

Now, Mark Zuckerberg's social networking platform is launching a new feature that is a page game creator named This gaming page serves as a portal to broadcast a user's live video game or recording.

The page will help fans find video games based on what content they followed, preferred fan pages, and owned groups. Game portals will also feature creators, sports competitions, and content from gaming industry events.

This is done by Facebook as an evidence of e-sport popularity in the world, where top gamers around the world fight each other in various games through the internet.

In 2016, e-sport prizes amounted to USD 450 million (IDR 6.2 trillion) and the number is increasing rapidly even estimated next year the figure will be translucent worth USD 1 billion (IDR 13.9 trillion).

In addition to launching the Gaming Creator page, Facebook also launches a Level Up program that helps beginner streamers to build fan bases and earn money from their fan subscriptions.

Level Up members will also have early access to new features, recommendations from well-established game creators, and Facebook support for troubleshooting.
