Palestine government called the visit of Yahya Staquf to Israel as a blow to the Palestinians

News24xx.com -  Palestine government through its Foreign Ministry denounced the visit of  Yahya Cholil Staquf, the Katib Aam of PBNU to Israel. 
 
Yahya's participation in Israel was called as a blow for the Palestinians.

"The State Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the participation of the Indonesian Ulama delegation from Nahdlatul Ulama, an organization that headed by Mr Yahya Staquf, Secretary General of Nahdlatul Ulama, the Supreme Council, at the AJC Global Forum in Jerusalem that held from June 10 until 13, 2018," the Foreign Ministry Palestine says in its official statement as quoted by AFP on Wednesday, June 13 2018.

The official information has posted by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through their  official website, http://www.mofa.pna.ps.

And it's wrote in English language.

But, the Palestinians said the visit of Yahya to Israel,  would not affect the bilateral relations between Indonesia and Palestine. 

They judge the participation of Yahya in that event as a personal attitude.

"The Palestinians also consider the participation of Mr. Yahya Staquf as a personal attitude, and it not bad impact to the bilateral relations of Palestine and Indonesia," the statement said.

And the Palestinians consider this incident as part of a misleading Israeli campaign that aimed to  appearing wit a civilized and cultural face calling for peace, convergence and interreligious dialogue. 

"Because as we know, Israel has survived for decades with many abuses and crimes against Arab Palestinian peoples from Muslims and Christians, and the holiness of Jerusalem city,” they stated.
