Recently, Biodex healthcare company from Paris, France, launched its new findings called 3D printers.
With this latest 3D printer technology, the surgeon can to scan the organs of patients who will be operated.
The replica of the patient's organs will printed through a 3D printer, so the doctors can perform the test before performing the surgical procedure.
"Our goal is to improve the success of patient surgery and also reducing the risk of failure during surgery," said Carolyn DeVasto from Biomodex as quoted by Newsweek.
Dr. Michael Yunes from Baystate Medical Center, Massachusetts says with the benefits of organ replicas, the patient can get a full explanation of the surgical procedure that will be performed.
Yunes also said the most sought by patients is a replica of a tumor, because surgical removal of the tumor has several risks, so the patient always asks for an explanation from the doctor.
