Shortage of workers in next few years, Japan open job vacancies in large quantities

News24xx.com -  Japan have a plan to ease the ban on immigration in order to bring more foreign workers to the country. 

The plan has been discussed because the Sunrise country has mentioned is experiencing a labor crisis.


"The shortages of labor  have become more acute in Japan," said Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga on Friday, June 15 2018. 

" It's very important to create a mechanism to accept foreigners who are ready to work with specific skills and expertise in Japan," Suga told as quoted from TOI on Saturday,  June 15 2018.


Suga also confirmed, the Japanese government have a plan to immediately revise the immigration law.


He explained that the government plans to offer a new visa status that allowing the overseas workers to fill some specific sector and skills.

However, under the plan, the government that led by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe emphasized that the policy would not make Japan to open immigration on a large scale. 

"The Japanese government will not rely on foreign immigrants," an official at the cabinet office told AFP before Suga announced the policy plan.


The labor shortage among them occurred in sectors such as agriculture, nursing, construction, hotels, and shipbuilding. 

However, another difficulty to receive foreign workers is the need for communication in Japanese language both written and oral .
