News24xx.com -  Tragic, immigrant children that detained at the US border are being given psychotropic drugs to manage their trauma.

According to the filing from the Center for Human Rights & Constitutional Law said, the youngsters being held at a number of facilities, including the Shiloh Treatment Center in Texas, were given administered drugs without their parents’ permission.

And the lawsuit also claimed some of the children had received nine different pills in the morning and six in the evening. If they refused treatment, they would not be released from the camps.

And the carers had forcibly held them down and given them an injection if they did not take the drugs.

After the Trump Administration’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy, they separate children from parents who crossed the US-Mexico border illegally. And now the filing sought a shift in policies to comply with state laws and prevent the prolonged detention of children.

But on Wednesday, June 20 2018, the US president seems to have now abandoned the law after he signed an executive order to keep families together.
