Distibution of 3kg non subsidized LPG tube will start on July 2018

News24xx.com - At the beginning of July 2018, communities with good income will be given to alternative options of 3 kg of non-subsidized LPG tube. This was revealed by President Director of PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati.

"This is an alternative for people who can not use 3 Kg subsidize LPG tube In the near future, people will be expected to use this LPG, not a subsidy one" she said.

"There are people who need 3 Kg LPG but they do not need the subsidy, like the one in the apartment, why they need the big one, because there is a demand, then we prepare it" Nicke said during halal bihalal event at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, on Friday, June 22nd 2018.

But Nicke did not mention how much the sale price for 3 Kg nonsubsidized LPG. Because, currently still formulated and permissions have been completed.

Regarding the distribution, she sure will not interfere with 3 Kg subsidized LPG. Therefore, for subsidized LPG that is written specifically for the poors.

"What the certain is that there is no 'for the poor' writing in the nonsubsidized one”  she said.

PT Pertamina (Persero) has tested the sale of 3 kg nonsubsidized LPG in Tangerang, South Kalimantan and East Java. Pertamina is coordinating with BPH Migas and Local Government to immediately market it.

Deputy for Mining Business, Strategic Industries and Media at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Fajar Harry Sampurno said there is a new product to maintain the distribution of 3 kg subsidized LPG on target.

"Because so many people are able to use this melon gas, not about the price but more to practical, then there will be 3 kg gas but not subsidized" he said.

Regarding the price, Harry claimed will have the difference when compared to 3 kg subsidy LPG. If the price of 3 kg subsidized LPG is sold in the price range of IDR 20 thousand, then the 3 kg of non-subsidized LPG is sold at IDR 39 thousand per kg.

It's just that the price tested is not necessarily the same as the official distribution price in the future. It is still depend on Pertamina decision. This 3 kg nonsubsidized LPG will be sold under the brand of Bright Gas with pink color tube. "So mothers would like, better," he said.
