Microsoft fans made a petition to make Microsoft release its double surface phone

News24xx.com - A petition initiated by Microsoft fans is expected to influence the software giant to produce a dual screen device called Surface Phone. Zachary Hinski is a fan of Microsoft products, petitioned at Change.org. The contents requested that Surface Phone enthusiasts sign a petition to convince Microsoft to release a product that was later known to have codenamed Andromeda.

"Windows Phone enthusiasts want Microsoft to release Surface Phone or Surface Andromeda Phone Project that leaked previously, a phone with two screens that can be converted into tablets" the petition was quoted as saying by Digital Trends Saturday, July 7th 2018.

Hinski estimates that consumers will not mind paying USD 799- USD 999 for the device. This price is appropriate and equivalent to the flagship of other brands currently available.

As for the reason Hinski made the petition was as a survey to see how many people would buy if Microsoft released it. Currently, the petition has already signed 2,742 supporters from a target of 5,000 signatures and is expected to continue to grow.

Regarding the Andromeda project, although Microsoft has never formally announced it is working on the device, a number of leaks show Surface Phone is considered to be a device that brings a breakthrough in mobile technology.

This device can be converted into five modes thanks to functions that can be rotated up to 360 degrees. Unlike the existing convertible notebooks, Surface Phone has a more concise form. Shaped like a smartphone when it is closed.
