England fans made a petition to give England coach, Gareth Southgate royal title


Gareth SouthgateGareth Southgate - The success of Gareth Southgate's taking England national team into the semifinal of World Cup make the country fan began to make a petition to award the English coach with the honor of the kingdom label 'Sir'.

Southgate is considered to have a major impact on the success of the Three Lions to continue going further in the 2018 World Cup. England is repeating their success 28 years ago to reach the semifinal of the world's largest soccer event.

England will face Croatia to fight the spot for final in the 2018 World Cup final in Russia. Regardless, Southgate is considered to have managed to bring a good change for the players of the Three Lions majority inhabited by young players.

Almost all Britons are so infatuated with coach who always wearing a vest while accompanying his team on the side of the field. Quoted from the Sport Bible, now the Three Lions fans make a petition aimed at the British Empire so that the coach gets the title 'Sir'.

It is currently only a handful of English footballers who got the title 'Sir' because of the difficulty of the award obtained. There is the name of Sir Bobby Charlton, England legend who brought their country the title of 1966 World Cup champion.

Also there is the name of Sir Alex Ferguson who won this honorary title because of his service for training Manchester United to become the biggest football club which represent England.

It was Simon Harris who started the petition on the website two days ago with the title: "Your Majesty, Knighthood for Gareth Southgate This is a simple request, It is time for Gareth Southgate to be Sir Gareth Southgate."

"You may think that this petition is premature because since this petition was made, the England just defeated Sweden to qualify into the quarter-final, but Gareth Southgate deserves the highest honors no matter the outcome of this tournament" the preliminary article wrote in the petition.
