Association of poultry entrepreneurs explain the causes of the rising of egg price

In addition, it is also mentioned other causes because there are still many deaths found in hens before the productive period. Atawa in farms known as starter grower has a high mortality rate.

Then, other causes also mentioned that the rising price of eggs is also due to the high price of chicken seeds.

In addition, since 2015, imports of chicken seeds for laying chicken is still minimal because under 30 thousand head per year. "Not to mention the import price of chicken feed affected by the weakening of the rupiah against the US dollar also affects (rising egg prices)" he said.
