News24xx.com -  After was rescued from a cave in Thailand, on Saturday, July 14 2018 the 12 boys and their coach have been told of the death of an ex-Navy SEAL named Saman Kunan,  a man who died when trying to save them from the cave. 

The doctor said they were mentally strong enough to handle the news of Saman's death.

As we known, although the operation to rescued the boys and their coach from the Tham Luang cave was eventually successful, but Saman Kunan died on July 6 2018 while installing oxygen tanks along the twisting passageways of the cave.

All of them cried as they came to terms with what had happened. Saman was hailed as a hero.

"All cried and expressed their condolences by writing messages on a drawing of Lieutenant Commander Saman and observed one minute of silence for him,’ Jedsada Chokdamrongsuk, permanent secretary at the health ministry.

From photos that released by Health Ministry, showed when the youngsters crowded around a sketch of Saman scrawling messages on it. They also thanked him and promised to be good boys

On June 23 2018, the boys, aged 11 to 16 and also their coach getting trapped inside the Tham Luang cave. They spent nine days in the dark, dank cave before being located by two British divers.

Despite positive assessments so far experts have said they would all need to be monitored closely for signs of psychological distress that could take months to manifest.

The ‘Wild Boars’ football team are recovering in hospital and the health ministry said the overall condition for the players and coach was normal.

Saman, a triathlete and diver who retired from the military in 2006 and worked at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport before volunteering to help with the rescue in northern Thailand.
