The big mistake of Arsene Wenger is staying at Arsenal for so long time

News24xx.com -  Arsene Wenger revealed his new secret. The former of Arsenal manager has admitted, after stayed at the club for too long, he describing it as the biggest mistake of his career.

As we know, Wenger has spent  two decade-spanning stay at Arsenal club. Now, the  the Frenchman should to parted ways with the Gunners after 22 years and replaced by Unai Emery, having failed to finish inside the top four for two consecutive seasons as a large swell of fans turned on him.

And Wenger admits he probably overstayed at that club, but he was obsessed with trying to deliver the title for Arsenal.

His secret has revealed after he asked in an interview on French radio station RTL as quoted from Metro on July 16 2018.

When he was questioned about the biggest mistake of his career, he said, "Perhaps staying at the same club for 22 years, is the biggest mistake for my career. Now, I’m someone who likes to move around a lot, but I also like a challenge. I’ve been a prisoner of my own challenge for long times."

Before, Wenger has turned down the chance to take charge of France in World Cup 2018. Even, he discussing taking over as head coach of the Japan national team.

He explained, "I’ve had the opportunity numerous times to be France manager. I’m not sure if it was before or after Domenech. It is a question I’ve been asking myself, if I should become a national team manager. A national team manager takes charge of ten games per year. In a club, you take charge. My drug is the next match."
